You can use those phrases if they help you explain your ideas but they won’t necessarily give you a higher score. In part 1, you must answer quickly and directly so don’t use them. In part 3, you might use them to explain your ideas. The most important thing is to speak naturally.

However, different transition words carry different meanings, have varying nuances, and create diverse connotations; so much so that one needs to have a clear grasp of their meanings and knowledge of their usage before they can effectively use them in their write ups.

Your essay should be formal in content, not informal.

I’ve only made three so far. I hope to make more later next year and at present I’m writing an ideas book for writing task 2 which should be ready in a couple of months 🙂

* If the statement is to what extent do you agree or disagree…can we write a partial eassy or we have to be strictly on one side.

It is possible to write a partial agreement but you need to be very careful doing it. If you turn the essay into a discussion essay with no clear position, you will get a low score. If you want training in this, my advanced writing task 2 lessons explain it all and are at 50% discount right now:

I’ve a confusion about thesis statement. Can I write a phrase after stating my opinion (However,I also believe that) for adding more information in my thesis statement or I’ve to stick only I completely agree/disagree that ?

You are doing a commendable job. I always read your comments and they helped me lot to achieve 7.5 in Writing but unfortunately I lacked 0.5 in my Listening…so I will be resitting for exam.
