Everyone, at some point in life, has felt stressed or frustrated about something; sometimes we feel overwhelmed, as if we can't take it anymore. Yes, it is difficult to believe, but there are actually a million other things to do that can help you figure it all out and feel much better. There are people that keep a personal journal, others talk to their friends or family members, but there's also people that take their time and meditate. And no, it's not just a religious practice done in India; it's a method of relaxation that can be done by anyone and everyone, if they wish to do so. Even though sometimes life seems to be too difficult, and we just want to give up on everything, we should keep in mind our life goals, which act as motivation for us to keep going. It doesn't matter how hard the situation gets, there's always something that seems to be our little light at the end of the tunnel.
Is there any relation between meditating and setting life goals? Actually, they both function as means for us to feel motivated to keep working hard in whatever it is we have to do. By meditating, we're focusing ourselves in something specific; we keep our thoughts from wandering about multiple things. For instance, we've all had those days when we have too much homework, or too many issues to work on, and it gets to the point where we need to take a minute to just breathe. When people meditate, they're focusing their attention in a single thing, and it helps them to solve their issues one by one; this is the way it must be done, one step at the time until we reach the mountain peek. But, why are goals important in this entire situation? To begin with, goals must be set since an early age; people must make up their minds on what it is they want to do with their life, and then spend most of it working until their goals are no longer dreams, but become a reality.
Goals vary from one person to the other, and there's always people that give
